Boldmere Futures CIC is a large membership not-for-profit Community Interest Company. It covers the area of Boldmere, mainly B73 areas 5 and 6. It is a not-for-profit organisation run by a Board of Directors and empowered by its members.
Boldmere Futures brings together residents, businesses, community organisations and local councils to:
- Promote and improve the social well-being of the Boldmere Area;
- Promote and improve the cultural nature of the Boldmere Area;
- Promote and improve the economic well-being of the Boldmere Area;
- Promote and improve the environment of the Boldmere Area;
- Promote and improve communication within the Boldmere Area;
- Provide chargeable or grant-funded community support services to other areas.
Boldmere Futures has run and participated in several projects for the Boldmere Community including:
- Boldmere Summer and Christmas Festivals
- Boldtober
- Big Sleuth 2017 (Boldmere Bear)
- Commonwealth Games Triathlon 2022
- Flying the Flag for Boldmere
