Elephants march into Boldmere

4 large elephants and 9 small elephants marched into Boldmere overnight on Saturday 29th June / Sunday 30th June ready for their official launch on Monday 1st July as part of March of the Elephants.

March of the Elephants is an ele-fantastic art trail for showcasing 30 large elephants and over 40 mini elephants across Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and Tamworth organised by St Giles Hospice in partnership with Wild-in-Art. Boldmere will be the main location in Sutton Coldfield with 4 elephants and 10 mini elephants.  At the end of the trail, the large elephants will be auctioned to raise money for St Giles Hospice.

Find out more about the elephants in Boldmere and Boldmere Neighbouhood Forum’s very own Where’s Ellie.

The trail takes place from 1st July until 8th September.  A map and further information can be found on the March of the Elephants website.  You can download a trail map from the March of the Elephants website or use their interactive app on Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Find Boldmere Neighbourhood Forum’s ‘Where’s Ellie‘ to grab yourselves a free postcard by following the reward instructions in the March of the Elephant app.  Where’s Ellie is a puzzle where you need to find all the pairs of mini mini elephants.  Can you find all the twins and can you find the one set of triplets?
