We have learnt of the recent death of the Town Council inspirer and founder, Ken Rushton (centre in indoor picture and 4th from right in outdoor picture).
His funeral is to be on Monday 8th June, 11.30 am at Sutton Crematorium.
Ken was instrumental in organising the petition that enabled the establishment of a parish council later to be called Town Council.
